Certifications for the Circular Economy
We advocate for the development and implementation of EU-wide harmonized certification standards. The EU-wide criteria for the "end-of-waste" (EoW) status for plastics encompass the Europe-wide harmonization of validation processes for certifying the "production" of plastics from plastic waste—that is, the production of recyclates within the circular economy.
